How to decrease/reduce a website bounce rate.
Bounce rate is the percentage of people who visit your website and leave without viewing other pages on your website. You can check bounce rate by looking into your Google and analytics.What I explain is the fact that your website is not retaining its visitor. People are coming to your site and either finding what they want but not anything else or not finding what they want at all.The key is to make sure that once visitors land on a page they are drawn to visiting, even more, pages throughout your site.
How much bounce rate is good or bad?
This is different for different categories. For example websites with entertainment, the material must have lower and websites with the educational material can have less bounce rate. But bounce rate tells us about the success or failure of a website.

Ways to reduce Bounce Rate:
1. By improving the website’s speed:
You don’t want to waste the time of visitors by showing them a blank page loading script and loading content. One second delay can cost you 7% of sales,11% fewer page view and 16% decrease in customer satisfaction.
2. Optimize your call of Action Placement:
Most users decide whether or not they like a website in the first couple of seconds. Now that you know what your users are looking at, you can optimize this area. It should immediately describe what you are selling and these should be a prominently visible call to action.
3. By designing a simple and readable website:
Majority of content on most websites is in text format. You need to make sure that text on your website is easily readable on all device. It shouldn’t be too small or else users will have to squint or zoom in to read it. Use font sizes that are large enough on smaller screens.
4. By providing a better experience:
The website should be user-friendly. A website should recognize its visitor pattern that is what influence the decision. A good user experience is when a user finds a website not only easy to use but also pleasing.
5. By using videos and interesting things to engage the audience:
Videos are highly engaging and grab attention more so than text or even images. You can use full-screen videos as a background, or add it next to your call to action.
6. Engaged users by exact target:
Often your engaged users can also bounce without taking any action. This is very common for blog posts and resources section.
The user came to your article, found what they wanted and they leave. But that doesn’t help your conversions. In this case, you want to show your users with the most relevant offer.
7. The website should be clear and honest:
Misleading users will create a bad user experience which is the number one reason for high bounce rate. Further, your work must be the honest work. There must be no plagiarism and you should follow all ethical rules.

It is not easy to trust a new business with your money or information. A new user doesn’t know how good your business is and what kind of reputation you have earned. Proudly display the glowing review of your product or services from third party websites like product hunt.

You will see it on many websites a tiny little testimonials slider, showing a quote from one customer at a time. While it does the job you can make it a lot more effective.
