Formula, Structure, and Rules of Past Continuous Interrogative Tenses

Formula:

Were / Was + Subject + present participle + Object

Example:

  1. Was he walking in the road?
   Subject Verb Object
He Walking Road

2. Were you working in that store?

   Subject Verb Object
You Working Store

3.  Was she talking to you?

   Subject Verb Object
She Talking You

4.  Was he asking question?

   Subject Verb Object
He Asking Question

5. Was he going to their home?

   Subject Verb Object
He Going Home
