Abstract/Introduction
Most of the vehicles are equipped with advanced technology devices (i.e., cameras, sensors, onboard CPUs, etc). The vehicles can get information from the environment and share it on the Cloud. This information will be helpful for the drivers to take various decisions like the safety on the road, the time is taken by a driver to a certain place using a route. Moreover, this information can be helpful for traffic management on a certain route.
This project has the following basic modules:
- Information Disseminator
This component is responsible for obtaining information (i.e., pictures, temperature, distance) from the environment and disseminate over the Cloud.
- Cloud Database
The information obtained from the information disseminator is stored in the Cloud DB.
- Query Manager
The query manager is used by different drivers and traffic managers to take various decisions like which route to choose for traveling and carrying out traffic scheduling etc.
