Good morning, everyone!
Today, I want to talk about a great person—Swami Vivekananda. He was a wise man and a famous leader from India. Swami Vivekananda was born on January 12, 1863, in Kolkata. His real name was Narendranath, but later he became known as Swami Vivekananda.
Swami Vivekananda is remembered for spreading the message of peace and kindness. He believed that all people should be treated with respect, no matter where they come from. He also taught that we should help others and work hard to improve ourselves.
One of his famous teachings was, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.” This means we should never give up and keep trying to do our best in everything we do.
In 1893, he went to America and gave a speech that made people from all over the world respect him. He talked about the importance of unity and understanding between different religions.
Swami Vivekananda’s life teaches us to be brave, work hard, and always be kind to others. We can learn a lot from him and follow his example in our daily lives.

India’s Swami Vivekananda, a spiritual figure and philosopher, was instrumental in bringing Vedanta and Yoga’s teachings to the West.
Though he was born in 1863 and died in 1902, his principles and teachings are still inspirational and have a positive impact on people all over the world.
Vivekananda studied and lived the teachings of Vedanta, a philosophy that emphasises the oneness of all things and the inherent divinity of the human soul, for many years. Vivekananda was a follower of Ramakrishna, a Bengali mystic and religious figure.
Additionally, he learned and engaged in yoga, a system of mental and physical discipline meant to promote spiritual development and self-realization.
The inaugural address Vivekananda gave at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893 is his most well-known speech.
He discussed the need of tolerance and respect for other religions in this address as well as the universality of religion.
He also highlighted the significance of personal spiritual progress and the necessity for people to work toward their own spiritual development in order to improve the world.
The unifying, tolerant, and spiritually awakened message of Swami Vivekananda continues to motivate people all throughout the world.
One of India’s greatest spiritual and cultural ambassadors to the outside world, he is well respected.
His principles and teachings on learning, charity, and spiritual growth are still applicable today.

Ladies and gentlemen, now I’d want to talk to you about Swami Vivekananda, a revered Indian philosopher, social reformer, and spiritual leader.
In the year 1863, Swami Vivekananda was born in Calcutta, India.
