The 11th President of India was Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, widely known as the Missile Man of India. He was a renowned scientist.
He made important contributions to India’s missile and nuclear weapons development, and he was crucial to the 1998 Pokhran-II nuclear tests.

Dr. Kalam was a staunch supporter of both the value of hard labour and the efficacy of education.
Millions of young people in India and around the world looked up to him as a role model and were inspired by him to follow their aspirations and make a positive impact on society.
He also put in a lot of effort to advance science and technology in India, where he played a key role in the development of the nation as a prominent participant in the sector.

Since his family was not wealthy when he was born in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, Dr. Kalam had to overcome several obstacles in his lifetime.
