Who are audiometrists?
Audiologists and audiometrists study, identify, measure, and treat hearing loss and ear disorders. They also provide aids and other listening devices to assist patients with hearing loss.
AUDIOMETRIST (BS-16)
(On a Contract Basis For 05 Years)
SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD)
One paper MCQ type written test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration.
The syllabus is as under:-
i) Qualification-related questions on special education (80%)
ii) General Ability including (20%)
General Knowledge MCQs, Pakistan Studies MCQs, Current Affairs MCQs, Geography MCQs, English MCQs, Basic Mathematics MCQs, Urdu MCQs, Everyday Science MCQs, and Basic Computer Studies MCQs.
PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES
M.Phil in Special Education or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with three years of teaching or administrative experience in the relevant field; or
ii) Master’s degree or BS (first division or grade B) in Special Education or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with five years’ teaching or administrative experience in the relevant field.
Note:
i) Only Teaching and Administrative Experience after the prescribed qualification
shall be considered.
ii) Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other Regularity Authority

Male:
30 to 40+05 = 45 years
Female:
30 to 40+08 = 48 years
The age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.
