Job Responsibility for Literacy Mobilizer

1. Establish Village Education Committee (VEC) and make sure that mothers are part of the committee. If female participation is not possible with male then establish separate Female Education Committees (FEC).
2. Pinpoint best space for School
3. Pinpoint best teachers
4. Making village profiles highlighting all the facilities in the region.
5. Pinpoint Out of School Children in the regions.
6. Coordinate with team for orientation and training of teachers.
7. Convince parents to enroll children in schools
8. Coordinate with  team for the provision of all supplies
9. Making a list of all OOSC in the regions with their names, age, parents name and contact details.
10. Making village profiles highlighting all the facilities in the region.
11. Pinpoint Out of School Children in the regions.
12. Making a list of all OOSC in the regions with their names, age, parents name and contact details.
13. Convince parents to enroll children in schools
14. Coordinate constantly with teaches for the smooth functioning of the schools.
15. Observe class and provide support for teacher in the teaching.

1. Strong understanding of education system and issues of communities
2. Strong understanding of dealing people
3. Strong negotiating expertise
4. Ability to work in all regions including remote regions
5. Willing to serve for community development.
6. Strong communication, and interpersonal expertise
7. Strong knowledge of education system
8. Strong writing expertise
9. IT expertise: able to work on MS word, excel and power point, use of internet, whatsapp and windows.
