What is Shab-e-Miraj?
Shab-e-Miraj is a very special night in Islam. It is the night when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) went on a special journey to meet Allah (God). The word Miraj means “ascension” or “going up,” because the Prophet (PBUH) went up to the heavens during this journey.

When did Shab-e-Miraj Happen?
Shab-e-Miraj happened a long time ago, during the 7th century. It happened on the 27th night of a month called Rajab in the Islamic calendar.

What Happened on Shab-e-Miraj?
On this night, Angel Jibril (Gabriel) came to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and took him on a special journey. First, the Prophet (PBUH) went to a holy place called Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem. From there, he was taken up through the heavens, where he met many other prophets like Prophet Adam, Prophet Moses, and Prophet Jesus.
