All questions carry equal marks.   PART-I Q#1. Discuss various classes of the revenue officers. Also bring to light the duties to be performed by such officers. Q#2. What do you know about the term record-of-rights? Discuss the documents included in it. Q#3. What course is to be adopted by a revenue officer in case there arises a question as to title during the course of partition proceedings? Q#4. Define the term Review. Discuss the law relating to ‘Review’ under the provisions of the Land Revenue Act, 1967 Q#5. Lambardar is considered to be very important unit of revenue administration in Punjab. High light its importance by discussing law relating to appointment, duties and dismissal of a Lambardar. Also state the restrictions imposed on emoluments. Q#6. Discuss in detail the law relating to sale/auction of the immovable property of the defaulter for the recovery of the arrears of land revenue. PART-II Q#7. Analyze various legal provisions relating the ejectment of occupancy tenant, tenant for fixed term and tenant from year to year. Also discuss the restrictions, if any, on such ejectment. Q#8. Discuss the law relating to extinction of occupancy tenancies under the provisions of the Punjab Tenancy Act, 1887. PART-III Q#9. Elaborate the law relating to making of ‘Talbs’ (demands) for exercising right of pre-emption. What procedure shall be adopted in case a person is unable to make the ‘Talbs’ (demands)? – Q#10. Discuss the law relating to appeals under the provisions of the Land Revenue Act, 1967. Q#5. Lambardar is considered to be very important unit of revenue administration in Punjab. High light its importance by discussing the law relating tc appointment, dismissal and emoluments of a Lambardar. Q#6. Analyze the relevant provisions of law which pertain to fixation of boundary line between the riverain estates. Also highlight the effect of such boundary line. PART-II Q#7. Discuss in detail various grounds for the establishment of occupancy tenancies under the Punjab Tenancy Act, 1887 Q#8. Elaborate the legal provisions partaking to the limit of holding for personal cultivation after the enforcement of Punjab Tenancy Amendment Act, 1952. PART-III Q#9. Discuss the persons who are entitled to claim the right of pre-emption under the provisions of Punjab Pre-emption Act, 1991. Also discuss the provision which requires the plaintiff to deposit sale price of the property. Q#10. What is the law as to the determination of market value of the property sold? Also highlight the provision governing the issue of limitation for a suit to enforce the right of pre-emption.
