BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-11) JUNIOR CLERK (On Regular Basis)

PUNJAB POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:
i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) from a recognized Board; and four months Diploma or Certificate in MS Office;
OR
Intermediate in Computer Science (second division) from a recognized board
AND
ii) A speed 35 words per minute of typing in English and 30 words per minute of typing in Urdu on Computer.

 

AGE:
Male: 18 to 25 + 05 = 30 years
Female: 18 to 25 + 08 = 33 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD):-
One paper MCQ type written test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration comprising questions on General ability which includes Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, General Knowledge, Everyday Science, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim Candidates) and Computer Studies.
NOTE:-
i) The candidates who qualify the written test will be called for typing test in Urdu on Computer.
ii) The candidates who qualify Urdu typing test will be called for typing test in English on Computer and proficiency test in MS Office.
