Step #1 Press the power ON button to switch on your computer.
Step #2 Press F12 again and again until setup appears.
Step #3 Select “BIOS Setup”.
Step #4 Select “General”, and then “Battery information”.
Step #5 Now, we can see battery health from 0 to 100 and it also shows charger’s watt.
Important information to know about percentage of battery health
- 100% (Excellent Condition): The battery is in good health and holds its full charge.
- 80-99% (Good): The battery is still functioning well, but it may have experienced some wear over time. It’s normal for the battery to degrade slightly as it ages.
- 60-79% (Moderate): The battery is starting to show signs of wear and may not hold a full charge for as long as it used to. You might notice shorter usage times between charges.
- 40-59% (Fair): The battery has significant wear. It will likely need to be charged more frequently, and its lifespan may be considerably reduced.
- 20-39% (Poor): The battery health is low. It may not hold a charge for long, and it’s advisable to consider replacing the battery soon.
- Below 20% (Critical): The battery is at the end of its lifespan. You may experience very short usage times, and it’s highly recommended to replace the battery.
