BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-17) GIS ANALYST
(On contract basis for the period of 05 years)
FORESTRY, WILDLIFE & FISHERIES DEPARTMENT
PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:
i) Master’s degree (second division) in Space Science or Geographical Information System from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
ii) Two years’ relevant experience including one year experience of use of Geographical Information System application in the field of forestry or other natural resources. OR
i) BS (Four Years Program) (second division) in Space Science from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
ii) Two years’ relevant experience including one year experience of use of Geographical Information System application in the field of forestry or other natural resources.
NOTE:- i) Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority. ii) Practical Experience will be accepted after Prescribed Qualification.
AGE:
Male: 24 to 30 + 5 = 35 years
Female: 24 to 30 + 8 = 38 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD):-
One paper MCQ type written test of 100 Marks
and 90 minutes duration. The Syllabus is as under:-
i) Questions relating to Qualifications (80%)
ii) General Knowledge including (20%)
Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies , ( Ethics for Non – Muslims candidates ) , Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Science.
