BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-17) NETWORK SYSTEM ENGINEER (Permanent)

PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

 

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:

a) M.Sc. in Computer Science (First Division or Grade-B) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission with two Years’ Experience in the field of Computer Networking out of which one Year Experience must be as Network Engineer or Network Administrator; and
b) MCSE and CCNA Certification
NOTE:-
i) Experience in Private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority.
ii) Practical Experience will be accepted after Prescribed Qualification.

AGE:

Male: 23 to 35 + 5 = 40 years
Female: 23 to 35 + 8 = 43 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

DOMICILE: All Punjab Basis.
PLACE OF POSTING: PPSC Head Office, Lahore

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/

TEST (IF HELD)

One paper MCQ type Written Test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration comprising questions:-
i) Qualification relating questions (80%)
ii) General Knowledge includes (20%)
English, Urdu, Pakistan Studies, Mathematics and Islamiat (Ethics for Non- Muslim candidates)
