BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-17) ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEERS / SUB DIVISIONAL OFFICER / ASSISTANT DESIGN ENGINEER / ASSISTANT DESIGN OFFICER / ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FLOOD MONITORING / ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (on Permanent Basis)

IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:

i) B.Sc Engineering (Civil) or B.E (Civil) or an equivalent qualification from University or
Institution recognized by Pakistan Engineering council; and
ii) Registered as “Engineer” with Pakistan Engineering Council, except in a case where
section 28(b) of the Pakistan Engineering Council Act, 1976 (V of 1976) applies

AGE:

Male: 21 to 30 +5 = 35 years
Female: 21 to 30 +8 = 38 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

GENDER, DOMICILE & PLACE OF POSTING:

GENDER: Male, Female and Transgender.
DOMICILE: Any district of the province of Punjab.
PLACE OF POSTING: Anywhere in Province.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD):

One paper MCQ Type Written Test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. Syllabus is as under:-
i) B.Sc / B.E (Civil Engineering) (80%)
ii) General Knowledge (20%)
Including Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies.
