AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT (RESEARCH WING)
PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:
i) Ph.D earned after M.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture in Soil Science from an Institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
OR
M.Sc (Hons) Agriculture (3.00 CGPA out of 4.00) in Soil Science earned after B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture from an Institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission and 3years experience of Agriculture Research in BS-17 & above; and
ii) Minimum 3 Publications in the Journals recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
NOTE:
Only Research Experience must be acquired after
prescribed qualification.
Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority.
AGE:
Male: 25 to 40 + 10=50 years
Female: 25 to 40 + 10 =50 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD):-
One paper MCQ type Written Test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration. Syllabus is as under:-
a) M.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture Soil Science. (80%)
b) General Ability includes (20%)
General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim candidates),Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu and Basic Computer Studies
