BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-16) INSPECTOR
(on Contract Basis for a period of 03 years)

TOURISM DEPARTMENT

 

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:
i) Bachelor’s Degree (Second class or Grade-C) preferably in Economics, Commerce, Public Administration or Business Administration from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; and
ii) Three years’ experience in the field of tourism, hotel management or in travel agency business.
NOTE:
i) Only Practical Experience after prescribed qualification shall be considered upto the closing date.
ii) Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority.

 

AGE:
Male: 18 to 30 + 7 = 37 Years
Female: 18 to 30 + 10 = 40 Years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

GENDER: Male, Female and Transgender
DOMICILE: Candidates domiciled in any district of the province of Punjab

PLACE OF POSTING: Anywhere in the Punjab

 

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD):-
One paper MCQ type written test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration. The syllabus for written test is
as under:
i) Questions related to qualification (50%)
( i.e. Economics , Commerce , Public Administration and Business Administration)
ii) General Knowledge including (50%)
Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim candidates), Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu and Everyday Science.
