BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-18) ECONOMIST (on Regular Basis)
COMMUNICATION & WORKS DEPARTMENT
PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:
i) 2nd Class Master’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications in Economics or Transportation Economics; and
ii) Five years’ experience of Work and / or research relating to economics appraisal of Engineering projects preferably transport projects in any Government Department.
OR
i) An Honour’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a foreign recognized University (Other than an Indian University) or 1st Class Master’s Degree in Economics or Transportation Economics; and
ii) Three years’ experience of Work and / or research relating to economics appraisal of Engineering projects preferably transport projects in any Government Department.
NOTE -1.
Candidates with Statistics as one of the elective subjects will be preferred.
NOTE -2.
Research and Practical Experience will be accepted after Prescribed Qualification.
AGE:
Male: 25 to 35 + 05=40 years
Female: 25 to 35 + 08 =43 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.
