Forensic chemistry relies on different types of evidence to help solve crimes. Some of the most common types of evidence used in forensic chemistry include:

corpus delicti evidence

Corpus delicti evidence refers to the evidence that establishes the existence of a crime or offense. This type of evidence is proves that a crime has been commited before the court can convict someone of committing that crime. Before the actual investigation can be initiated ther must be sufficient prove that a crime has taken place. For example Dead body  broken window

Miscellaneous Evidence

This type of evidence is either subjective , objective and may not always be admissible in court of law.For example voice analysis ,narco analysis etc.
