               Steps of Formula Creation in Excel
1 On the worksheet, click the cell in which you want to enter the formula.
2 Type the equals sign (=). This tells Excel that you are entering a formula.
3     Enter the formula using input values, cell references and appropriate mathematical operators , For example ·        + for addition ·        for subtraction ·        for multiplication ·        / for division
4 Use parentheses ( ) to control the order of operations if needed.
5 ·        Press Enter to complete the formula ·        Excel will calculate the result and display it in the selected cell.
6 ·        Later, If there is need to edit the formula, then double-click the cell to enter edit mode and make changes ·        Press Enter again to update the result
