BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-17) PROVINCIAL MANAGEMENT SERVICE (Selection from Ministerial Quota) Services & General Administration Department (Regular Basis)
SERVICES & GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT
PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:
By selection on merit from amongst the civil servants holding respective posts on regular basis in BS-5 to BS-16 with Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) or LL.B From a recognized University, serving under the Government of the Punjab and having the following experience:-
a) For Officials in (BS-11 to BS-16) = 05 years;
and
b) For Officials in (BS-05 to BS-10) = 08 years
Remaining Conditions:
The candidates must fulfill all other preconditions for the examination as given in this Advertisement and Instructions to the Candidates available on the PPSC website. The candidates will produce the original certificates at the time of interview.
AGE:
Male: 18 to 25 + 5 = 30 years
Female: 18 to 25 + 8 = 33 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

PLACE OF POSTING: PPSC Head Office, Lahore and its Regional Offices
SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD)
One paper MCQ type written test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. The proportion of Questions in the MCQ Test shall be approximately:-
a) MS Office (50%)
(Word, Excel, Power point, Internet, E-mail).
b) Basic I.T. (30%)
c) General Knowledge (20%)
{Includes Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Every-day Science}
NOTE:
Only those candidates will be called for typing test and proficiency test who will qualify the Written Test.
