Objective:      To evaluate that the applicants possess excellent advocacy and pleading skills in English, Urdu and Information Communication Technology and have creative vision

 

Mode:                The Paper shall be subjective as well as objective.

 

CONTENTS:

 

· Information Computer Technology: 25 Marks
·  Essay in English on Pleadings & Conveyancing: 25 Marks
·  Essay in Urdu on Pleadings & Conveyancing 25 Marks
· Proficiency in English Grammar (MCQs based) 25 Marks

 

PAPER-II

 

Constitutional & Administrative law                          (Subjective + Objective) (100 Marks)

 

Objective:      To assess that the applicants have an excellent level of understanding of the constitution and the principles of administrative law and possess the knowledge of established principles of interpretation of Statutes, including the Constitution, rules of Business & Secretariat Instructions.

 

Mode:                the Paper shall be subjective as well as objective and problem based.

 

CONTENTS:

Case-based study of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with particular emphasis on:

 

The Fundamental Rights

The Rule of Law

The Law of Writs

The Emergency Provisions

The Executive

The legislatures and legislative powers

  • Finality of administrative action (ouster clauses): concept and effect
