Syllabus for Written Test:

The One Paper MCQ Type Written Test for recruitment to the position of Sub Inspector in the Punjab Police Department has been approved with the following details. The test will be 100 marks with a 90-minute duration, covering the following subjects:

a. General Knowledge (20%)

General Knowledge will include questions from:

  • Pakistan Affairs
  • Current Affairs
  • Everyday Science
  • Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim Candidates)
  • Fundamental Rights
  • Geography
  • Basic Math
  • Urdu

b. English (40%)

The English section will cover:

  • Synonyms
  • Antonyms
  • Sentence Correction / Completion
  • One Word Substitution
  • Idioms

c. I.T and Language Comprehension (40%)

The I.T and Language Comprehension section will test knowledge of:

  • Basic Software Usage (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Electronic Record Keeping
  • Internet and Email Usage
