Method 1: Inserting Screenshots
- Prepare Your Question and Options:
- Type your question and options as you normally would.
- Take a Screenshot:
- Windows 10/11: Press
Windows Key + Shift + S
to open the Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch tool. Select the area you want to capture. - Mac: Press
Command + Shift + 4
to capture a selected portion of the screen.
- Windows 10/11: Press
- Insert the Screenshot into Word:
- Go to the “Insert” tab in MS Word.
- Click on “Screenshot” in the “Illustrations” group.
- Choose the screenshot from the available options or click “Screen Clipping” to select an area of your screen and insert it directly.
- Position the Screenshot:
- Click on the inserted screenshot to resize or move it as needed.
- Use the “Wrap Text” option (found under “Format” or by right-clicking the image) to choose how text should flow around the image. “Square” or “Tight” are often useful options.
- Type the Answer:
- Below or next to the screenshot, type the answer or explanation related to the screenshot.
- Repeat for Additional Questions.

Method 2: Using Screen Clippings
- Prepare Your Question and Options:
- Type your question and options as usual.
- Take a Screen Clipping:
- Open the “Insert” tab in MS Word.
- Click on “Screenshot” and then select “Screen Clipping.”
- Your screen will dim, allowing you to select the area you want to capture.
- Insert the Screen Clipping:
- The selected area will be inserted directly into your document.
- Position the Screen Clipping:
- Click on the screen clipping to adjust its size or position.
- Use the “Wrap Text” option to format how text flows around the image.
- Type the Answer:
- Write the answer below or alongside the screen clipping.
- Repeat for Additional Questions.

Formatting Tips
- Resize and Crop:
- Use the handles on the image to resize or crop as needed.
- Add Captions:
- Click on the image, go to the “References” tab, and choose “Insert Caption” to add a description or label.
- Use Shapes or Arrows:
- If you need to highlight specific areas of the screenshot, use shapes or arrows from the “Insert” tab under “Shapes.”
