BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-18+Rs. 55000/- Non-practicing Allowance Per Month) DEPUTY PROSECUTOR GENERAL (on Regular Basis)

PUBLIC PROSECUTION DEPARTMENT

  PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES: i) Bachelor’s degree in law from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission and eight years’ practice as an advocate High Court; OR
Postgraduate degree in Law from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission and Six (6) years practice as an advocate High Court; OR
ii) Ten (10) years’ experience in the prescribed civil service and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law;
OR
Seven (7) years’ experience in the prescribed civil service and a Post-Graduate Degree in Law or Barrister-at-Law; OR
iii) Bachelor’s degree in law from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission and Seven (7) years ‘ experience as the Public Prosecutor.
Note-I:
i) Experience certificate showing exact dates & containing complete information from President High Court Bar Association also having enrollment certificate signed by the Secretary and Vice Chairman of Bar Council.
ii) Qualifications, Experience and other credentials of the candidates must be completed before or on closing date
Note-II:
The following categories of Special persons shall not be considered for the post:-
i. Blind
ii. Deaf & Dumb
Note: Only practical experience after prescribed qualification shall be considered.
  AGE: Male: 35 to 50+5 = 55 years Female: 35 to 50+8 = 58 years As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022. Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.   GENDER, DOMICILE & PLACE OF POSTING: GENDER: Male, Female and Transgender DOMICILE: Candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab PLACE OF POSTING: Anywhere in Punjab   SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD):-
1. Criminal Law-I: Procedure (Objective 25 + Subjective 125) (03 hours) 150
2. Criminal Law-II: Substantive (Objective 25 + Subjective 75) (03 hours) 100
3. Criminal Law III: Evidence (Objective 25 + Subjective 75) (03 hours) 100
4. English (02 Hours)
