ON REGULAR BASIS

LIVESTOCK & DAIRY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

 

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:
i) Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences or Animal Husbandry with basic degree of Veterinary Sciences from a recognized University;
OR
M.Phil or M.Sc (Hons) degree (Second Division) in Veterinary Sciences or Animal Husbandry with basic degree of Veterinary Sciences from a recognized University having three years’ experience in BS-17 and above or equivalent private sector experience duly accredited by Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council as per SOP laid down by L&DD Department;
OR
Master’s Degree (Second Division) in Project Management or Management Sciences or Policy Studies or Economics or Development or Business Administration with basic degree of Veterinary Sciences from a recognized University having four years’ experience in BS-17 and above or equivalent private sector experience duly accredited by Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council as per SOP laid down by L&DD
Department;
OR
DVM degree from a recognized University having five years experience in BS-17 or equivalent private sector experience duly accredited by Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council as per SOP laid down by L&DD Department; and
ii) Having a valid registration with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council.
NOTE:-
i) Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority.
ii) Practical Experience will be accepted after Prescribed Qualification.

 

AGE:
Male: 30 to 45 + 5 = 50 years
Female: 30 to 45 + 8 = 53 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD):-
One paper MCQ Type Written Test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. Syllabus is as under:-
a) Qualifications related questions (80%)
b) General Knowledge including (20%)
General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies.
