BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF (BS-17) LIBRARIAN / DOCUMENTATION OFFICER  On contract basis for a period of five 05 years

AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT (Directorate of Agricultural Information, Punjab)

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES:

Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (second division) from a recognized University with one year experience of library management and documentation work by using IT tools.
NOTE
i) Only Practical Experience after prescribed qualification Shall be considered.
ii) Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority.

AGE:

Male: 21 to 28 + 05= 33 years
Female: 21 to 28 + 08 = 36 years
As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022.
Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

GENDER: Male, Female and Transgender.
DOMICILE: Anywhere in the province of Punjab
PLACE OF POSTING: Lahore

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD):

NOTE:- In case, a large number of applications are to be received, short-listing shall
be carried out on the basis of academic record of candidates or on the basis of one paper MCQs type Written Test, if held. The Syllabus is as under:-
i) Qualification related questions (80%)
ii) General Ability includes General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, (20%)
Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu and Basic Computer Studies
