 I want to calculate Head Loss (HL)Velocity (V)Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) Velocity (V) Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) Head Loss (HL)

Example 1:

Velocity (V) = 3,

gravity = 9.8,

Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) = 5,

find Head Loss (HL) = ?

Sol :

Velocity (V) = (3*3)

Formula Values = 9/(2*9.8)

Head Loss (HL) = 5 * 0.459 => 2.295

Example 2:

Velocity (V) = 6,

gravity = 9.8,

Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) = 10,

find Head Loss (HL) = ?

Sol :

Velocity (V) = (6*6)

Formula Values =36/(2*9.8)

Head Loss (HL) = 10 * 1.83673 => 18.367

Example Of Velocity (v):

Example 1:

Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) = 2.5,

gravity = 9.8,

find Velocity (V) = ?

Sol:

Formula Values = 2*9.8*5 = 98

Result = 98 /2.5 = 39.2

Velocity (V) = √ (39.2) => 6.2609

Example 2:

Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) = 5,

gravity = 9.8,

find Velocity (V) = ?

Sol:

Formula Values = 2*9.8*15 = 294

Result = 294 /5 = 58.8

Velocity (V) = √ (58.8) => 7.668

Example Of Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) :

Example 1:

Velocity (V) = 5,

Head Loss (HL) = 7 ,

find Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) = ?

Sol :

Formula Values = (2*9.8)/(5*5) = 0.784

Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) = 7*0.784 => 5.488

Example 2:

Velocity (V) = 7,

Head Loss (HL) = 9 ,

find Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) = ?

Sol :

Formula Values =(2*9.8)/(7*7) = 0.4

Closed Conduits Energy Loss Coefficient (K) = 9*0.4 => 3.6
