## How to calculate Ionic Strength with examples and calculator

Enter the value of concentration(Ci) separated by a comma

## Example  of Ionic Strength calculation – Example 1

calculate the ionic strength of KCL IF its concentratio is 2M.
concentration = 2,2
valence = 1,1
formula = 1/2[(c1*z^2)+(c2*Z^2)]
result = 1/2[2+2]=4/2=2.

calculate the ionic strength of K2SO4.
